HOMEWORK(12/11)

The topic of today's homework is very interesting!! I think men and women write in a different style to each other. I'll describe some examples.
First, relatively speaking, I think men tend to write an e-mail in dialect than women,
for example they often use "Hiroshima-ben" or "Kannsai-ben"although they are not Kansai-jin.
On the other hand, women sometimes use "Hiroshima-ben" when we write an e-mail to familiar friends , but we don't bother to use "Kansai-ben" !!
Next, I think women often use picture writing called "Kao-moji". Of course many young men use picture writing as well, but I think older men don't use them very much.
"Kao-moji" is sometimes useful to express our feelings, but I think that it is not good to use them when we write business mail to our superiors. We should use and enjoy "Kao-moji" considering the situation and person we write to regardless of women or men.
In addition, we can't forget that we can't see the face of person you chat in the mail, so it sometimes is very difficult to communicate our feelings exactly. Um...
In conclusion, I think that mostly I 'll be able to tell if the mail is from a man or a woman.
I like to enjoy e-mail with my friends, but I think that to talk to them face to face is happier!!
